My promise
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That's how the site stays free and independent.
It never changes a score or a ranking. If a free tool is the better choice for you, I'll say so, even when it earns me nothing. Tools I haven't finished testing are marked 'Soon' instead of getting a made-up score.

What I score
Features and value
Does it do the job well, and is the price fair for what you get? I look at the plan most small businesses would actually need, not the cheapest tier.
See my picks ↗
Ease of use
How quickly can a busy owner get set up and see results? A powerful tool nobody can use isn't a good tool.
See my picks ↗
Support and reliability
Can you get help when something breaks, and does the tool stay fast and stable? I check help docs, response times and uptime history.

📏 What the scores mean
Every score is out of 10. It tells you how well a tool does its job for a typical small business at a fair price. Always read who it's best for, because the highest score isn't always the right fit for you.
Scores I stand behind
✓ 9+ means I recommend it for most
✓ 8+ means a strong pick for the right fit
✓ 7+ means good, with clear caveats
What 'Soon' means
– I haven't finished testing it yet
– Prices are checked, the score isn't
– It gets a score once I've used it

How I test
01
Sign up like a customer
I use the same plans and checkout you would, so I see the real onboarding, upsells and limits.
02
Check prices at the source
Every price comes from the provider's own pricing page and is re-checked before each update.
03
Compare like for like
Tools are compared on the plan a small business would actually choose, not a cherry-picked tier.
04
No score without real use
If I haven't used a tool properly yet, it shows as 'Soon' until I have.
05
Re-check every quarter
Software changes fast. Scores, prices and picks are reviewed at least every three months.
My promise
Every verdict tells you who a tool is for, who should skip it, and what it really costs. If I earn a commission, I say so.
How a review gets made
01
Use it on real work
I set the tool up and use it for the job it promises to do, then note what works and what gets in the way.
02
Score it on four criteria
Features and value, ease of use and support each get a score, then an overall verdict out of 10.
03
Publish, then keep it fresh
Reviews are dated and updated when prices, plans or features change, so you never read stale advice.

Affiliate disclosure
DigiStacker is free to use because some links are affiliate links. If you sign up through them I may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes my scores, rankings or recommendations.
Independence
Every verdict is my own opinion, based on my research and experience. No company pays to be reviewed, ranked or featured, and I'll always tell you who should skip a tool as well as who should buy it.
Pricing
Prices are checked on each provider's own pricing page and shown in USD. Software pricing changes often, so always confirm the current price and terms before you buy.
